Mr. Find-a-fish-please

Today wasn't thrilling in any way. There was a band of storms that we had to go through but we pretty much caught the edges of all of them. We put out a fishing line again and during a particularly rough patch Papa and I (this is Grace) saw it get tight but we couldn't safely deal with it. Later, Papa and Nora pulled it in and while there was no fish, a part of one remained. We accidentally provided an easy meal to something bigger. Oops, I think we'll try the same lure again tomorrow but check it more frequently.

Speaking of lures, we have a few and they have names. There's Mr. Christmas, Mr. Flashy, Mr. Boring, Mr. Squid, Mr. Crazy Squid, and Mr. Natural. We've not named today's yet. As a boat with mostly girls, I don't know why they're all males. How sexist of us. Maybe we wanted Papa to have some company.

Aside from the storms, nothing has happened. Before bed last night we tacked back to what was more familiar and comfortable but today and tonight are on the eastward tack. This doesn't have much impact on anything except that we're going east-ish and the boat is tilted the other way.
